This is the picture of the Shiny Ancient Mew pokemon card.I found this during the week at my work place.
Cool, huh? Mew is one of my favourite pokemon and I know this one is really rare, so to just find it in a box of clothing is extra special.

I think the only somewhat valued Ancient Mew cards are the Error ones, which have a spelling mistake on the copyright mark at the bottom and have been miss-centered. Being the very first set(-s) out, estimated that only a handful survived.Β
Once people realized all they needed was to watch the movie to obtain it for free, that is when the value dropped.
But none the less, it is still a very appealing card to have as a keep-sake.

Oh yes, and after my auntie left the front door unlocked while I was on holiday, and my pokemon were stolen, I do not have many left.

I know the feeling of loss.
( Kinda irrelevant info here, you don't need to read this XD) Once, I brought my whole deck to my middle school and put half and half in my cardigan pockets. The class bully stole them ALL from my pockets whilst standing in line, in the main hall first thing in the morning. I managed to get them all back by sneaking into his backpack during lunch the same day, as well as taking a few of his own as a warning to him not to do it again. I was kinda lucky I didn't get caught, but I would no-longer be the one in trouble of I explained to them what the bully did in the first place. And thankfully, using the few brain cells the bully had, he knew this.Β

Oh I have a few of those stories.
1) Lost basketball at school, it was located in lost and found weeks later in school hall. And took it home later on in the day.
2) blue sponge ball went missing, students through teachers thought I stole it and the teacher had me get the ball out, as I was accused of stealing. I got the ball out, it was in fact my own rubber (dog) ball as it bounced. Ball went back in my bag. End of the story.

Another time, I was accused of making a yogurt-looking mark on the bulletin board behind where I sat every lunch. (This is still fairly recent. ) So when I was ill having chicken-pox, they all 'dobbed' on me whilst I was in agony with a high fever. Once I found out, I reported to the head of year and the rest of my class got multiple detentions XD

The "blame the guy who is not here to defend himself" routine.
I have (and my brother) been in that boat. We were accused of stealing from the back of a lorry [a truck where the back load is part of the vehicle and not towed along]. local criminals who we were friends with as similar age group, and neighbours blamed us for it but, we were at our grandmothers home 300 miles away.

Yes, something that cannot logically make sense, due to the lack of the accused's presence. It always makes me laugh after some thinking.
And the most entertaining part is when they all realize that the person they put the blame on is not even here.
That way, it gives you a great opportunity to put them on a guilt trip. BD

It's not actually worth that much, it's a weak card and has also been banned from tournaments.

I have no idea how much it's actually worth, but on amazon it's kinda cheap. But it's probably worth more than that, seeing as it was in an actual movie and it's pretty damn valuble now and stuff.
Amazon has cruddy prices, anyways. -_-

I've got this cards; but it's not from the first PokΓ©mon movie, its from PokΓ©mon: The Movie 2000 (i should know, my old friend from secondary school went and saw the movie twice and gave me her spare card, plus i have the pokΓ©mon you get when you went to see PokΓ©mon: The first movie).

I got one... with a big fat crease across it. I had it in my pocket one day after the movie. I bent down to reach for something and forgot it was in my pocket until then.
