Hehehe, I totally used the 3d rendering software for horses more than anything else. The Millenium horse was soooo beautiful! And reskinning it was fun too!

lol, that's what it's called, I promise! *grins* You just take the flat picture into photoshop and go crazy on it. It really does look like someone skinned a horse and laid it flat, only the modeler wraps it around the horse so it looks bee-uuu-teee-ful.

Can't. =] I gave away all the software I had on it to someone else. I just didn't feel like I was really...making art. If that makes sense. I felt more like I was just playing with someone else's toys.

lol. It was done in poser, so the anatomy and background are both canned. =] Putting it all together in a way that looks fairly realistic and is pleasing is the trick. =] Thanks!

=] I used Poser, a 3d rendering program.
I pulled out a pair of millenium horse models and a background, then posed the horses, then gave them the two textures and fiddled with the lighting, then saved the result. I pushed that jpg into photoshop and did some fiddling with the markings and the eyes, then saved it. =]

Do you have a pose or scene you'd like to see? If it's in my power (different levels are difficult) I'll give it a shot. I've got tons of gorgeous horse textures I'd like to use...some really nice paints, and solids as well. And I can turn them into unicorns as well.

Actually, that's a lot harder...I was hoping for maybe an idea where I could use the textures that came with it...sometimes I get some really good ideas from other people on a scene or pose they'd like to see.

ow!!!! i know!!!! you know the scene (in the movie: the lord of the rings, the fellowship of the ring) when arwen runs (on her white horse) from the nazgul!!! you could... without the persones on it... re make the scene but then just with the horses... don't know if this is a good idea... just something that popped into my head

lol, it won't take that long to DO, but I really really really need to finish my picture with kit...and that takes computer time. and since poser is only PC, and I can only do one thing at a time, I'm guesstimating it may take that long. =]
