I like the drawing, but the background annoys my eyes greatly. It is too busy, beyond even the point of chaos. There is nothing to draw the eye, especially since both of the figures in the picture are wearing relatively light coloured clothing. The words that you have also blend with the background and frame the figures. Perhaps if they were bolder and tucked slightly in behind the figures. It might add depth to your picture as well as help the figures to stand on their own and be recognized. I must admit I am left slightly confused as to why you would have such things as hate and betrayel in this picture of a couple. The message would have been far more poignant if the figue had been alone, or outside a group of others that are shunning him. Just my view I suppose.

I can see where you would get that impression, I suppose the thought was loneliness, and annoying a friend who quite loudly stated "If you don't quit writing that all over the paper, I swear, I will freak out and kill you." Looking back on it though, I may redo this sort of thing, taking your advise into concern as well.
