I normally work with colored pencil, digital art and my characters are just a side hobbie.Apologies for the shotty photo job, cell phones ftl lol
Once i get my camera back from my older brother I'll take a better shot X3
Use: Prismacolor Colored Pencils, 1 white gel pen, 9x12 Brown Card Stock, photo ref via National Geographics

Great, it looks like you've drawn the face as if it's the focused part. Have you taken another photo yet? Or maybe use a scanner?

What kind of gel pens did you use? I have a Sakura Gelly Roll but it doesn't write over colored pencil, watercolor, nor graphite very well. Maybe I'm using it wrong. Any tips?

I have no idea how to even use coloured pencils, your amazingly talented... I know the words of a random stranger don't mean much, but seeing this really has restored my faith in the art community, I saw your page and thought that it was all anime type stuff, but to have such amazing traditional skills, seeing this.... just thank you ^_^
