Discord was overwhelming happy to know his little boy had magic like him. Although it was also very difficult. As a young colt around 4 years old he would have sudden burts of energy leading to cotton candy clouds, smoke bombs, and butterflies. Discord was constantly cleaning up after his little Disco.But he got along with his cub just fine, while fluttershy had a harder time because she couldn't control him. At all.
The only thing she could do was food. She instantly had Disco Balls attention if there was food around. Still like that today too.
