I see it now... Kind of reminds me of the Disney Cheshire cat's grin without a face. I'm sure the "smile" is supposed to be a piece of paper with lighting, I'm not sure what the "eyes" are. Look at the street sign in the center of the piece-go to the guy to the left who is walking toward us--go towards his right knee (our left)--there it be...

The fact that she's wearing a maids outfit makes it seem like she was planning on surprising her lover or something, and he dumped her instead.

I know you didn't do the lines, but what I think would make this really great would be if she weren't so close and in the center. That way you'd have to kinda look for her, making her seem even more distant to both the world around her and those looking at her.
But that is just my opinion, and I know why it could be argueable.
