Bought a lot of new acrylic paint lately, and fiddled around with it today.... not sure if it is finished yet... maybe.Acrylics on stretched canvas, 40 x 50 cm

A feeling of stagnation emanates out of this painting; like the person just stopped off to watch the sky and then suddenly hours have passed.
It's very effective that the sky is taking the majority part of the painting.
This painting would look like a little window when hanged on the wall.

Also das mit dem Deich "haut nich´hin", da wäre der Horizont zu sehen(oder es wäre neblig) - so hoch bauen wir die nicht!
Ich finde, Du hast das Caspar David Friedrich Motiv interpretiert, Du weißt bestimmt, was ich meine...
und ich glaube, es ist noch nicht ganz fertig.

Ob das mit dem Deich hinhaut oder nich', das müsst ihr Nordlichter entscheiden, ich halte mich da als Bayer raus. 
Lustigerweise hatte ich weder das eine noch das andere im Sinn beim Malen, eigentlich wollte ich nur ganz viiiel Himmel und ein kleines Menschlein.
Kann gut sein, dass Du recht hast und es noch nicht fertig ist. Ich muss morgen nochmal gucken.
