I think this is some kind of shattered mirror showing me the before and after the breaking point with diatruaght one who still was somewhat sane but losing it. And then the after which is after being consumed by madness!

A great title for this scene, together with the description, which itself is a beautiful piece of art, gives a good insight on what was stirring inside his head during his transformation.
The picture is awesome, I like such themes with shattered mirror that reflects sanity or a window into the soul. The way that his two sides intersect and fight with eachother, distraught being winning this battle for control, appearing on more and more pieces of broken glass. I can almost hear it breaking, each new crack making a sound louder than the previous one and finally it all collapses in a great noise of shatering ceramics, leaving only the one of them alive.
In addition, this drawing shows well what changes took place in his physicality, the colours faded, the eye hosting a new being, the teeth that change into fangs. Great work, especially on the shifts in view on the cracks.

I love shattered mirror themes, and I have practiced alot to be able to accomplish such an effect. I find it shows a certain intensity...like the colour red. Some things just do, they invoke a certain level of intensity....thank you very much for your comment, dear friend
