And another one real quick like. Wanted to recreate a scene from the movie, though it was a little tricky finding a branch that would work, so I had to get a little creative with the stage xDBut ahhh, look at dat fruit! bowlroll is the best for stuff like that, it had full,half and slices -- exactly what I needed to make this pic happen. I was frustrated looking on da for the yellow fruit I needed, but a quick hop over there and I got enough fruit to feed a band of gorillas (including peal-able bananas omggg)

She.. Is mostly done. There's just some facial tweaks needing to be done really. If you want her, I could go ahead and give her to you. I just haven't focused on any of my fan projects lately! I really do need to get back to some of that stuff, but I've been so wrapped up in my new story that I haven't thought of anything else

Oh, that's pretty easy to fix, at least in my experience now that I know how to edit facials. At least, I can edit already existing facials but I haven't mastered making them from scratch. That's pretty exciting though, looking forward to using her model for future Tarzan adventures. I've been debating on how when I should go back to working on Sakura's comic, especially now that someone has been working on KH1 stages (uploaded a few random ones but I really wish they'd just go in order if they aren't gonna share how they did it) cause it'd be so nice to use actual KH1 stages for her comic and have Deep Jungle to use Tarzan and Jane. If I had any idea how they did it, I'd try to work on that and tell everyone how so there'd be more stages to play in Dx
That's good to hear! I admit, I was super surprised to see your update to Vlad cause he's just so different and unlike anything I've seen in the community, and it's kinda neat trying to pull them out of fandoms, I think that'd be too hard for me to do since my OCs are so wrapped up in their fandoms. Though my ninja have sorta gotten away from it, though it's still largely based around the Naruto fandom.

I didn't know someone was ripping KH1 stages. Didn't think those would ever be released. It would definitely be nice if they wanted to share their secrets. I've wanted Deep Jungle for forever!
I'm definitely glad to hear that, because that's exactly what I was aiming for! Lol. I wanted to try and make my own style all together instead of using Kingdom Hearts or something like TDA and the other anime bases available. Of course, I can't create my own things from scratch so I had to start with game models still, but I've been trying to alter them both enough to where you can't tell they're from Lightning Returns. (I'm using Snow for him).
It wasn't that difficult to pull them from the fandoms, considering they were never really rooted in with their storylines (that changed so many times I don't even know my original idea) and they never really clicked with too many other KH OCs and to click them with canon characters has apparently become a big no-no. Plus, there's always that part of me that wants to stick these two in Assassin's Creed, Silent Hill, Kingdom Hearts, and every other fandom I love. Which is the main reason I decided to pull them out all together. Creating OCs for every fandom would be tiresome and I wouldn't end up using them because Vlad/Kayne and Rissa/Liliana (name not decided) are my main two and they're all I want to focus on.
I can see where it'd definitely be difficult to pull Saku out of Kingdom Hearts lol. She fits so well, she really seems like a legit part of the game. You did wonderful on creating her to be a part of KH without feeling foreign like Rissa, and especially Vlad always did. I'm not sure I know your ninja.. but I remember you talking to me about them before.

She looks awesome, if you'd like whenever I get the chance I could fix it for you (unless you get around to it first) and then you can give her model out publicly, though admitidly I do enjoy having sort of exclusive content. Cause with you making a high poly Jane, we're both the only ones who have good models of the pair.
But yeah, it's a little tricky cause they're obj files and all the props aren't attatched (like doors and windows and things). But they were uploaded to models resource a month or so ago (idk it's summer vacation time flows weird) I actually used KH1 Pooh's house for my KH2 pack (since they're basically the same but kh1 has the inside of the house and a different skydome (but I have a neato slider to go back and forth between the two 8D )
Woah I had no idea where you got his parts from, first thing I thought of when I saw his model was 'woaahh muscles'. Cause you don't see that body type a lot in this fandom. Everyone is so small and skinny xD I think you're doing a great job with them, so keep up the good work! I know I went through a phase too where I would have one really great OC and just stick her in all the fandoms with minor appearance or history changes to fit the setting, cause it really is tiring to make so many unique characters (though I've collected a small handful of them working with my story but most are just minor filler characters so that's a little different)
But awwwww, thanks so much! It really means a lot to me that you think she fits so well I mean, after 10+ years working on her story she better fit in xD I'm hoping you'll still feel the same way after I start working on her comic. I've been sorta brainstorming it in my head the flow of it, cause originally I was just gonna write everything down like a normal fanfic, but I always had trouble wondering what perspective to write in cause I thought first person would be neat cause I remembered reading something about unreliable narrators and thought it would be cool to have a story like that where you only know Sakura's thoughts and feelings and everything wouldn't be as it seems cause there's a lot of stuff with her magic she doesn't quite understand and her struggle working through that is an important character trait. But now that I can make a legit comic with nearly proper stages and models, I think I can explain it better with facials and posing than trying to explain it with words - cause there's also the struggle of balancing dialogue with movement. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to rewrite the scene where she meets Maleficent for the first time and trying to portray the proper feeling without making it cliche sounding or overly dramatic and there's a lot of emotion in that scene and it's so visual I had a hard time writing what I was seeing in my head. Plus, working with stages is great cause it helps tell the story and finding angles to help change the perspective and stuff, cause I imagined the original scene differently than I posed it (but there was some spacing issues and I had to redo it, but I like the current version more anyway, just missing the other half of the islands that would be nice before I continue plotting it out xD)
But yeah, the ninja I have models for are my main trio Hikari, Rei, and Hakaisha. I've probably mentioned them briefly before cause they don't really intersect Sakura's story until post CoM/ pre KH2 - inspired by an 8th grade writing assignment cause we had to tell a story and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to combine my favorite OCs's fandoms Sakura (KH2) and Hikari (Naruto) and it just spiraled into this huge thing and I've kinda been working from there.

Lol that's why I was searching so hard for a muscled body! Vlad has never, ever been skinny in my mind. Back when I first made him, he was 19 so of course he was smaller framed, but as the years have passed and he's become all manly and such, I couldn't just keep giving him skinny arms and torsos xD Plus.. I just enjoy having such a hot model. Don't see very many floating around the MMDC~ But yeah, I used Snow and had to portion things a little different because Snow's head looked funny without hair before I scaled some of it larger. And I'm using Lightning for my ladeh. She's about finished too, although I'm not so sure about her outfit...
I feel like I'm going to have that feeling more once you post your comic! Just the way you talk about it, I can tell it's going to be really, really good. Comic form will definitely be able to give you all that oomph you've been looking for with being able to change camera angels and express the emotions without having to type them out. I always hate when I'm righting and it becomes a "she did, he did, she said, he said" type for every sentence because you're trying to describe what they're doing and there's only so many different words to use lol
Definitely remember you talking about Rei. He's a cutie ^^ And I think I remember you mentioning Hikari, but this is the first I've heard of Hakaisha and I must say, that's a really cool name

Cool, I'm probably gonna use her some more with my working on the gorillas, originally wanted to do a scene with her meeting the family, but I didn't have any baby gorillas and was too lazy to edit them into smaller ones, but I wanna try to fix her eyes. And ahhh I wanna see the new Tarzan movie so bad!! It looks really good, though the first trailer I saw was confusing about the plot cause I didn't realize that it was Tarzan going back to the wild.
No one's mentioned anything to me about how I got her model, so I dunno how many people actually want her, especially since there's no good Tarzan for download and it's like what's the point? Though now I'm wishing there was a model for her dad D:
I started checking models resource more often after seeing some good stuff, and especially after the kh1 stages (though they haven't been active since, but I keep hoping. I recently started looking through all the pages just seeing if I could get any inspiration and finding a few parts I need - wanna try to edit Hades with an actual flame model for his hair so I've been looking at pokemon and stuff to try to find a suitable fire, but haven't had time to edit or try anything out. I know there's an effect with actual working fire out there somewhere, but idk the name and it's such a hassle sometimes trying to work with effects, I just wanted something you can just load the model up and have everything right there.
Ahh, I hope I live up to your expectations then. I think I might (at least try) to have a sort of mini series of comics started while waiting on the main one to maaaybe get more stages. And have little skits of stuff I've written about or find little prompts so people can see my OCs in some action. Like the one idk if I told you about the apple throwing thing I got from a Snapple Tea fact, but maybe look into those facts and start a mini-series on them if they're interesting enough since I found a list the other day while looking for the exact quote.
Yeah, and in my creative writing class, the professor said you didn't want to use a lot of descriptive words for 'he said she said', but I always found myself trying to explain it more and just trying to find the balance between everything. My only concern is that I won't be able to properly portray her thoughts so what I was thinking of doing after I finish each chapter of comic was to write down paragraph format of it and link to it in the description for those who want a more in-depth look or to better explain something the comic couldn't really touch on. But ahh, talking about it make me really excited cause I'm looking forward to working on it, especially Traverse Town cause that's where stuff really starts happening and I've got some good scenes planned trying to work around not running into Sora, Donald, or Goofy before the boss fight (and the whole just missing the other party thing, which I thought was a hilarious touch and I really like how well I was able to keep the flow of it -- especially with Leom cause there's a really comedic part there)
Yepp, Rei's my little cutie baby. Hikari was supposed to (and still technically is) the main OC of her story, but after I started developing Rei more, he became easier to write for cause he's so funny and cute he just kinda writes himself, and inspiration for him is everywhere. I've posted a few things with Hakaisha, but he's not big in my crossover of my KH and Narutoverse stuff, cause then that'd just be way too many people all running around together, but I like him a lot too. I actually got inspired to use that name after a group of people on Neopets that called themselves the Hakaisha-nin and thought it was kinds neat and fitting so I took it xD

Tarzan was being a pain to pose lol I sorta cheated by taking a previous pose I did for him and modifying it, cause those super crouched positions are always really weird to try to make it look natural cause the legs start doing funky things and the feet won't bend just right.
