Your welcome. It's nice to see so many pictures of animals, particularly big cats. I've never seen anyone more into them than I am. And I mean genuinely interested in them, because pretty much everyone thinks they're "cute". Once I was face to face with a lioness (through glass of course, like you said, in a zoo) and I got the chills all down my spine. It was pretty neat.

haha, thats cool. Ive had the same experience with a Tiger... It was freaky... but oh-so-awesome. Its nice to know there is another who is into them too, and your right many people just think there 'cute' its a pity really, because they are much more than that, infact they are beyond words... To be able to go to the zoo and look at the animals this close is an honor... well for me anyway. I just wish that it wasn't in a zoo, like i said.

One day you should go on a safari. I'm not sure of your major or whether or not you're still in school, but your profession could deal with these animals. Not only could you photograph them, but study & document them. Who knows, one day I might see you on animal planet.
Every time I go to the zoo I'm humbled by all the animals because they make me realize how insignificant we are compared to the flora and fauna of the Earth. I want to stay and watch them forever but I can't of course. That's way too philosophical and sappy, haha.

Im still in highschool. Final Year another few months and im out! I intend to work with these animals, still haven't decided what I want to do, what ever it ends up being photography will always be a part of it. Im thinking about Doing a Bachalor of Science degree (at university) Majoring in Biology, my minor.. Zoology perhaps.

I understand what you mean about our 'insignificance', and its nice to know you share the same views, and feelings towards these animals. Going on Safari, well I was going to go September with my School... (I put forward the Idea and they organised it) then it turend out that I have my final exams the day they get back... ah well. One day. LOL
