Description
He was always as quiet bird, a different bird... A thoughtful bird.Marelo has never not had a thing on his mind. Could his thoughts be as distant as the stars themselves? Or are they as close and guarded as his heart?
Those eyes that stare so deeply, what does he see? Is he lost within hypnotic beauty, or a horrifying terror? Is he looking at everything? Or perhaps, nothing at all?
Share me your mind, Marelo. Show me your eyes, Marelo.

He really does look pensive. Blue Jays really are my favorite avians, and Marelo has to be one of my favorite characters. So young, yet wise. So loyal, yet with a golden heart. Very nice job with this, George ^V^

Contemplative bird!...It's quite the bird Marelo has become!
It's wonderful how Marelo has become the bird he is through your efforts, and this is another amazing tribute to your engagement in Marelo and the story in general!
Artistically, this is very well composed. I find, not surprisingly, my eye drawn to his, not out of simple contrast to the alluringly blue palatte, but it's where my eye finds the most confort. While this may not be a happy or sad image of Marelo, there's a warmth and care to be found there. Furthermore, level of detail being reached here is great! It really gives you a feeling of knowing the bird down to every feather. Truly amazing birdy bro! I love this!

Thanks, birdy bro.
It's been nothing short of an honor to help grow Marelo into a character that would reflect so much pensive thought and heavy weight. Knowing what he goes through, what those around him go through, and to be able to get through it all the way he does is nothing short of fascinating to me. I envy him in most, if not all respects.
It's still hard to say this, and with all respect to Mati and Rikaio, Marelo is still my favorite Blue Jay. I hope I can continue to show you how much he means to me. ^V^

Ya'know, I've always heard that thing saying... One simple picture has an immense story to it. In which, I've always tried to imagine in mine, I can definitely see it in yours. You're very talented ya'know.
And Marelo, you're not JUST a bird. Everyone is special in their own way. Forget your troubles, everyone has their own way of seeing the world.
In which, I like the way you may see it.

Thank you, I really hoped to communicate a deep-reaching thoughtfulness in his eyes and expression. A depth that would make him seem more real. I'm glad to see that you found that in him. ^V^
