Description Omg, it's finally ready

My half of the art trade with , it's her beautiful character Coraline, the Dracogryph.

Not much to say... I had several different ideas for this pic but ended up doing this. I first tried to draw Coraline flying but messed the pose so badly I decided to draw her on a cliff (argh, cliffs! >< ) in a sunset. Or sunrise, I don't know
I hope I didn't screw up Coraline's colors totally. They may have a bit too bright contrast or something O_o

And pleaze people, do not tell me in every comment that this background looks too simple or something. I want that the main attention of people's is in the character, not in the background... If that bothers someone, try to live with it

Love your wings and her expression, Päivi! And the cliff looks good! But... I think her hind legs look too... squishy. They bend in weird ways O.o And the "hip" is too round, me thinks. Otherwise very nice, so keep it up :3

Thank you very much for your comment, Mie! ^^ Oh yeah, those hind legs... I'm not too good with them, but I'll try to practice. Nice you told your opinion of them, I'll take that in notice now on and try to do more clever-looking hind legs for gryphs and other creatures

Yeah, you rarely see any dracogryphs around I once tried to draw one about 4years ago but I totally failed... Maybe other people tend to fail also and that's why there isn't many of them XD

Olen aina ihmetellyt tyyppejä, joilla on kärsivällisyyttä/taitoa tehdä kunnon taustoja. Tuo nyt on ylihelppo räellys jonka tein alta puoleen tuntiin. Eihän tollanen taivas nyt paljoa vaadi -.-'
Ja mun käsi on kaikkea muuta kuin vakaa Kun satun oikeakätinen olemaan, mä joudun aina jotain pikkutarkkaa piirtäessä pitämään vasurilla oikean käden ranteesta kiinni ettei viivat mene pitkin seiniä Ehkä siihen on joku syy miks mulla tuollaisten siipien pelkän line artin tekoon menee normaalisti 2-5tuntia...

Omg, she's beautiful! I think the colors turned out fine. They're supposed to be bright for her phoenix half. The sunrise/set is so pretty as well. ^^ Cliffs may be hard, but you pull them off nicely! I can't pick out any single thing, I just love it all so much!

And the lineart for Arcaillax is almost done, I just have to color then, so that should be up sometime this week.

Oh, I'm glad to hear I didn't mess up the colors after all ^^ And I think I still need to practice cliffs and stones, Skudde said here that they look like "colored plastic wrap" and I think she's quite right XD But I'm really happy if you like this one!

Sanon asiat nyt simppelisti ja suoraan:

+ Pää ja silmä on aivan sairaan suloset
+Siipien asento
+Pose ylipäätään
+Hännän kaartuminen
+Värit
+Varjostukset
+Tunnelmallinen tausta joka myöskin sopii väreihin

- Kallio näyttää värilliseltä muovikelmulta
- Kaulan "pörrötys" menee sikin sokin
- Etujalat

Eiköhän siinä ollu. Taivas siis ei oo ollenkaan liian yksinkertanen, mutta kiviä sun kannattais opetella tekemään. Etujalkojen anatomiassa on parantamisen varaa ja ne on kans aika lyhyet. Mutta muuten on todella erinomaista jälkee jälleen ja painotan vielä että toi häntä todellakin kaartuu kauniisti tonne taakse.

"- Kallio näyttää värilliseltä muovikelmulta" <- *Repesi ja nauraa kappaleina lattialla epämääräisesti pyörien* Aika hyvä kuvaus! Joo, se on vähän... Mä en keksi miten noita valostuksia noihin kiviin tekisi Mutta jokatapauksessa niitä on aina liikaa tai jotain.
Ja kaula tuossa nyt on muutenkin vähän mitä on, sitä tuli useaan otteeseen muokattua Ei pitäis yrittää piirtää hämärässä keskellä yötä.

Kiituksia taas kerran kommentista, otan nuo parantamisen varat nyt erityisesti tarkkailuun griippien anatomiassa kun olisin niitä nyt vielä piirtelemässä

Ehkä valokuvissa ei näy noin pahasti ääriviivoja Mutta kiitos!
Aika riippuu vähän kuvan koosta (nää mitä upittelen tänne on useinkin yli puolet pienempiä kuin alkuperäiset, jotkut lähinnä vaan kolmasosan alkuperisestä, näissä perus-kuvissa menee varmaan jtn 15-20tuntia, joista koneella useinmiten 10-15tuntia (Olen hidas )

No sie et varmaan tee niitä kuviasi kokoon 1655x2338 px? ^^' Ei mullakaan yleensä noissa vähän pienenmmissä koneella räelletyissä mene kuin 5-7tuntia, vähän isommissa sitä 10h luokkaa...
