I was playing again with my camera, when I wanted to try that "mode" where you can choose specific colours to be "seen" in the photo, when the rest is Grayscale. I managed to choose a color which was something between red and yellow and wasn't still orange, so that in this one did come both yellow and reddish areas as non-grayscale.I like this one quite much, because this little guy REALLY brings colours to my life
He's my cockatiel Tico, a funny little fellow with who I can't have so boring days. Only problem is that he doesn't stay still so I could photograph him properly...I added to this photo (with Photoshop) a little more yellow to his face and red to his cheecks because there were some spots with a lot of gray...

He's a cutie! I grew up with a Cockatiel, his name was George, and he lived until he was 18 so when I say grew up with, I really mean it! The only other one that outlasted him was my cat, Beauty, who passed when she was 21 & a half. George had a ton of personality & either loved you or hated you, it all depended on the day and who he wanted, haha.
Can he whistle any tunes or does he talk? George said, "Come here Casper" (our dog's name) and "Hello George!"

Nope, Tico doesn't talk or whistle any tunes, thus he has mimiced one whistle my older cockatiel whistles, but I wouldn't say that's any spesific tune...
Did your dog ever wonder why a bird was calling him? I've heard of one case where familys pet parrot learned to call their dog and tell to that dog to sit down. And the dog did obey

Y'know, we've had a surprising amount of animals that have lived a really long time. Our other cat, Cinderella, died when she was 18, shortly after George went. And Casper was a standard poodle & he lived until he was 16!
Casper never seemed to respond when George said it, probably because he ignored the birds all the time anyway. The other other pet he paid attention to besides our other dog was Beauty. When she was a kitten, he used to give her head tongue baths & he'd still do it occasionally as she got older! It was the funniest thing to watch.

Yep, if he didn't notice the birds he probably didn't then care what they said. And I can believe that it was funny to watch Casper giving baths for Beauty
