Can't... work... on... proper... pieces... >.<* And it was quite close that I wouldn't have finished this one after doing the sketch. Really.I just felt for a while like drawing something, like drawing my golden phoenix character Trajez (pronounced kinda like [Tratchez] or [T*atΚez] or what ever) a.k.a. Gold, who I have neglected quite muchly lately. You know, you can find two pics of him from my gallery, and I have never done many proper pics more of him. And after all, he's from the year 2005 when he did receive his first outlook. And I'd like to do something about that fact now xP
Nananananaa, the background is random. I just wanted something with pastel-colours.

I trully cannot express myself other than "i like it" You captured the certain moment in time greatly, the colors and contrast are mighty fine,although the light blurr on the wing is a bit odd, maybe you intended to bring in the neck and head into Visual first.

Yep, I tried to 'emphasize' the head and neck of the phoenix here by blurring the wing
