Another animation I created in class!My teacher said if I handed this in for my third year I would get a high mark and that it made his day! >w<
I'm not bragging or anything but it made me so happy!
I think the tail could use more 'drag' - it doesn't move enough :/
Still it was fun to do! He reminds me of something from a film??

Looks good. If he is not strong enough to climb the rope, his hind quarters would probably drop a little during that first pause. As it stands now, it looks like the frame is being held a little too long. After that though, it moves quite naturally again.

You're right, he kinda' does remind me of something from a movie, but I can't really place it.
I'm thinking some sort of talking bird from an animated movie or something.

Incredible! I can perfectly understand how your teacher feels ^^. But I have no clue about the average movie of students, so I have no reference.
Again, the face expressions are the most important ingredient. It is the main reason why I'm so positive about this movie ^^
The tail is good as it is. Now it just seems a bit more stiff than what you seemingly wanted, but it still feels natural.
About the film; I have to think of Disney's Robin Hood. Similar owls play small side roles in there, when they portrait the poverty.

Great that you like Robin Hood too! Then I can be more detailed; I think the owls pop up twice; once during the intro in the book, when they are chased by some bad guys, and once in the first shots in prison, when the rooster is singing a sad song about poverty.
But they still look substantially different than your owl ^^

If you don't mind me sayin', if you wanted to take the time to add to it anyway (I can understand if you wouldn't want to though, it probably took you a long enough time as it is) but if you made the bottom of the rope shake around a bit it'd definitely look 100% disney professional kinda thing

I did actually consider moving the rope! It's just if I wanted to animate the rope I would have to draw it again and again on every page rather then just the once
Sounds lazy I know but I just wanted to see if I could even get him to climb! haha I really appreciate the feedback though
I have to finish it off for my show reel so I may just do that!
