I used to rent these astro boy tapes from blockbuster when I was very young, but I always destroyed the covers

lol, I chewed on the plastic bits, stepped on them, ripped the cover picture apart, drew on them, stacked the covers up really high & sat on them, threw them into walls, anything!

very small. about, I dunno, 3 or 4? half the stuff I can't really remember, my mum told me. I was quite surprized when she did tell me, but I find it quite funny

The people who worked in the video shop must have been angry when you returned the videos! I bought these when I was 18. That was before Astro Boy came out on DVD, and you could only buy it on VHS.

Are those from the Canadian-English Dub? I wish I could buy those, but I don't have a VCR anymore unfortunately.

It is either the Canadian dub or the American dub. I'm not sure because it doesn't say on the case. It is in English though. Canadian and American accents both sound the same to me, so I don't know which one it is.

Well some of the names were different in that dub. The voice acting was better then the US dub, Uran's name was Sara in the Canadian dub, and Ochanomizu's name in the dub was Professor Pompous then later changed to Professor Peabody.
I was asking because the Canadian dub is pretty rare to find on the internet now.

It is the US dub. The characters' names are Uran and Doctor Elefun. I have never watched the Canadian dub. The US dub is the one I watched on TV when I was little so this is the same one.

Off topic, you can find three episodes from the Canadian dub on Youtube I believe. It suffered a lot of edits compared to the US dub. But on the plus side it had far better voice acting then the other dub.

I don't know. I wrote on my page at the top that I am from Australia. I will have to watch the Canadian dub on Youtube. It sounds interesting.

too bad most of the canadian dub is lost. if anyone has any recordings of any kind by all means upload them because nobody has seen them since 1996
