This is so full of charisma! I love it, it just has such a charming feel.

Good image, grabbed my attention immediately and I guess smiles just does one of those things - it makes you more interested. And then the sleeping figure contrasts the smiling men thus creating some sort of a hook to the viewer - at least me - to what's going on.
Only criticism I have is the depth of field, the background, especially the what I assume news-stand at the left, are pretty sharp which means the two figures don't jump out as much. However assuming it's a reasonably wide shot I could be asking a bit much, what camera & lense did you use? I don't see too great deal of a barrel distortion so perhaps it's not too wide angle?

In this case I've used a Canon 300D with a Sigma 70-300 so it was not a wide angle
You're right about the DOF of the pic but those things were too close to them anyway...

Strange, with a telephoto I'd have expected less DOF. I guess you stuck close to the 70mm end eh? I remember the 200mm-300mm images were really unsharp when I tried that lens

I love this shot. I actually love the fact that he's got this beautiful grin on his face. To me it's almost like saying 'no matter what life brings your way, life is always worth smiling about'. It looks like he's a good humored person.
