We all have our own personal demons that we try to get rid of. Though those are typically metaphorical demons. If you happen to have real life demons causing you trouble, I would recommend seeing a doctor...or an exorcist. Whichever one is closest to you at the time. But religious origins aside, demons are a part of our pop culture. They are often times seen in books, movies, TV shows, artwork, and online. Not surprisingly, we also find them in the Giantess community.

In this profile I’ll discuss the origins of the Succubus as well as how she relates to GTS fanlore. Though everybody typically makes up their own story for what a succubus is to them, they all got the idea from somewhere. There are also two categories that the succubus GTS breaks down into- the Succubus and the Demon Girl, which are two different characters. But I’ll discuss demons girls later.

Alright, time for history. Let’s start off with everybody’s basic knowledge: a succubus is typically a female demon and the counterpart to an incubus, which is a male demon. Contrary to popular belief (pun intended), succubi are actually not mentioned in the Bible and therefore not “canon” to the Christian faith. They originate from medieval folklore when men would have dreams that a seductress would often times visit them in their sleep and make love to them. They would also do stuff like temp the man to do really messed up things when he was awake like kill his wife or sacrifice a goat to Satan. The Catholic church diagnosed this as “possessed-by-the-spirit-of-a-demon-Syndrome.” But nowadays, most doctors would just diagnose that as schizophrenia.

The Succubus tends to be a beautiful woman, often times scantily clad and horny-as-hell. In modern pop culture, they don’t always come to people in their dreams, but they definitely have a high level of sex appeal. Most succubi tend to have horns of some kind: either demonic, rigid black horns with pointed tips or even the more classy faded white rams horns. Young succubi or half-succubi often times have small horns that are just beginning to grow.

Speaking religiously, and I am a very religious man, the arrival of a succubus is typically a bad thing. Sure they’re support hot and pretty freaking in bed, but that’s only half of it. They don’t want to make love to you because of your sparkling personality or even for your money. They want your soul, and apparently the only way for a succubus to obtain a man’s (and sometime’s a woman’s) soul is through the act of fornication. Believe me, it really isn’t worth it. Not having a soul sucks. Just ask Soulless Sam: the dude is practically an empty husk of his former self. Just walks around all day with bright white skin and dull eyes, moaning and groaning with no hope for a remedy to his pain. The dude’s kind of a bummer now.

But that’s just a normal sized succubus. In Giantess Culture, you will find a plethora of succubi much larger than 5’6”, which is the typical height of an average American Succubus according to a survey done by a non-profit organization that I made up. A Giantess Succubus...or a Succubus Giantess (either one works) exhibits the same typical traits as a normal succubus: very sexy, has horns, is evil. But they can’t really have sex with the little humans that flee from terror upon seeing them in their massive stature. But they can still obtain souls by eating people, which in my opinion is a better alternative. Because that way, at least the victims don’t have to live long without a soul. But a Giantess Succubus in an urban area will just start gulping down loads of civilians: drinking several at a time from buses and subway trains as well as tossing single persons into their mouths and sadistically playing with them before swallowing. They’ll also proceed to destroy the city because...why not? But it’ll still be super hot to watch if you’re...well...not in the city. But the Giantess Succubus is the exact opposite of an Angel Giantess: which is typically just as gorgeous, but is kind hearted, gentle, and not evil at all. All the things that Succubi hate.

Now, the Succubus is always a spiritual entity, and they are always evil. Even if a succubus seems nice, don’t trust her! It’s not in her nature to be a good guy! She’s trying to trick you! Demon Girls are different, and this is the part of the Profile where I explain how these two categories differ despite seeming similar.

A Demon Girl is different from a Succubus because they aren’t a spiritual entity. Typically, Demon Girls are a race of individuals, like nekos and elves. Therefore, they can be good or bad, and they aren’t the pawns of The Devil. Demon Girls usually have horns just like succubi, so that hasn’t changed. Thier skin color can vary: from normal human skin colors such as beige and dark brown to bizarre colors such as deep red or bright white. They can even have pure obsidian black skin color.

So because they aren’t evil by nature, Demon Girls can make for some pretty gentle giantesses. But of course, there are the Demonesses who prefer to use their size to wreak havoc and slay. There are a few traits that demon Giantesses often times share. For one thing, they can usually be found hanging out either underground or in a volcano. Somewhere near lava. They enjoy to bath naked in pools of boiling magma, which works like a sauna to them. They also have a fond taste for human flesh, even the gentle ones. Their just predatory like that, and you can see it in the way their teeth are pointed at the ends.

Demon Giantesses are often times worshiped as goddess because 1) they are freaking huge, 2) they usually have a lot of magical power and 3) they bathe naked in lava. That would blow a tribal scout’s mind if he was sent by his village to scout the top of a mountain and found a crater where at the bottom, lying in a pool of the liquid that could melt the flesh off his bones and then melt his bones, is a young and attractive girl about the size of a somewhat smaller mountain happily splashing in the fiery magma.

So after he runs back home and tells the chieftain, everybody comes to the conclusion that “Holy crap, a giant earth spirit is living in the nearby volcano. We must make periodic sacrifices of our most attractive virgin women.” And so they do, because nobody proposes the idea that the Earth Spirit is actually just a giant demon girl and therefore not at all akin to the body of the planet. But they decide to start tying up attractive young women, taking them up to the top of the mountain, and offering them to the demon girl as food.

Now, not all Demon Girls see themselves as being goddesses: some of them are pretty chill and aren’t opposed to making friends with humans. But they wouldn’t pass up a free meal, especially if it’s a sexy virgin. Demon girls (or giant monsters in general) love the taste of virgin women for some reason.

But my point is: they don’t need to do that. Like I said: not all demon girls are evil. But all succubi are. And it’s important to figure out what you’re dealing with if you encounter a giant woman with horns. Is she a possibly diplomatic demon girl, or a devilish succubus? Here are some things to help you figure that out.

For one thing, succubi tend to have crazy occult markings either on whatever small amount of clothes they are wearing or as tattoos. Demon girls don’t usually have occult symbols tattooed on their skin, unless they’re really into death metal. Another distinction: where did the Giantess come from? Did she warp into existence through a portal rimmed with burning fire? She’s probably a succubus. Did she just sorta stroll over to where you are, or perhaps fly there with her bat wings which demon girls often have? Then she’s probably a demon girl.

But no matter what, this remains true: they are always sexy. And that’s why GTS fans love them. They’re sexy, destructive, and not afraid to destroy things in a sexy way.

And whether it’s a Succubus from Hell or a Demon Girl from an underground dungeon, you can trust that they’re going to be pretty hardcore. Just...keep away from them, especially if you want to hang on to your soul.
