My half of the art trade I had with *Fealoki
This is her OC Harhune
Now the story behind it...
I really didn't know much about Kitsunes' so I did a little research, and found out that one of the interesting things about them is that after so long, they can learn the abilitly to shapeshift into humans (mostly commonly the form of a beautiful young woman is chosen
)... BUT in order to do that the kitsune would need to place either a skull, leaf, or reeds on top of his/her head. As soon as I read that I envisioned a Fox spirit placing a headdress made up of all three items (plus feathers 
) on her head 
I hope you like this idea I had, *Fealoki
I had so much fun painting her If it's not something you could see her doing, or you just don't like it let me know and I'll try again lol
... oh yeah and this is my first fox ever so sorry if proportions are shitty XP

This piece embodies Harhune's character so much, it's so whimsical and atmospheric! It's definitely something I could see her doing, the lore surrounding Kitsune is so interesting, thank you so much for incorporating it into the picture! I'm actually writing a book in which Harhune is the protagonist, and because she is only young she has to go through the ceremony of acquiring a human form! It's so perfect!!
And you are amazing with watercolours, humble mouse!! *bundybee and I were poring over this piece together wishing we could control watercolours like that!
I really, really love this piece, it's right down my alley.
And the proportions are great, don't even worry. I especially love her paws holding the mask, and the long mischievous but wise eyes, really wonderful!
