I've put a lot of thought into her outfit design.
And I'm extremly happy with the results. I originally didn't want to design a winx for her because I just draw her in the winx style, she isn't actually related to winx at all except that she is a fairy. Her world is quite different form thiers though. But here she is anyway.. .....Arieth Fairy of Time Winx transformation

I use a program called Gimp, and draw the lines then fill and color in. I can't lay claim to the body though, I used a base on this one and a few more while I learned winx style to draw myself ^^

Thank you, but if you compare to Layla side by side the outfit has quite a few differences from the shoes, skirt, top, and wings. Layla's shoes are shorter, and the bottom is designed differently. Her skirt is also slit and she looks to have shorts underneath, where Areith doesn't. Layla also seems to have a belt thing at the very top of her skirt with two circle pieces of metal at the very end. Layla's top is also halfed with a darker and lighter color. Though Arieth's top does have two colors the style in which they are conveyed are completely different. (sorry for the long reply, but I've looked at this problem before, and though I was originally inspired by Layla, I did not use hers, but simple designed one similar so that it was my own design and I worked on the wings from scratch drawing many designs until I favored one. I encourage you to see these differences for yourself by looking at a picture of Layal and Arieth side by side. I might even draw one and post it so that everyone may see.) If you think this is a load a bull then that's fine, I'm not trying to be mean, I just know the time I spent on designing her.

oh okay ^^ I was like, "Blue Layla" and then I looked her up and noticed a few differences like the ones you mentioned. Thanks for taking your time to write back and could you maybe look at my OC Silvenn? She's the fairy of silence and I think her and Arieth would get along ^^ it's fine if you don't want to.

Its no problem, :3 Thank you for taking the time to see the differences for yourself. I do really like your character, she has a beautiful hairstyle and face, and her outfit makes her look like a tom-boy (though Arieth's outfits are a bit girly she is a totally tomboy on the inside) I think they would get along too.
