This is my first (but definitely NOT my last!) SWAT Kats-related pic. As the title states, it's Jake, taking a nap. Not very imaginative, but true. This is just a rough, beginning form of the pic, and the finished one will be posted in my main Gallery later, once it's finished, and I'm satisfied with it. Hope you guys like it. And I hope the resolution came out okay. *crosses fingers for just that*Jake Clawson is copyright to Hanna-Barbera Cartoons.

And yeah, I know. I'm going to my level best to get more SK art up in MY Gallery. That's one of my fave caroons, and I don't understand WHY it's NOT on Cartoon Network anymore...other than they're short-sighted idiots over there!
Heh. Don't worry, I plan on it. Jake's my fave of the two, but I love Chance, too. Look for some pics of him soon. Well, of BOTH of them, really. ANything for a Chance fan, though.

THEY'VE RELEASED DANGER MOUSE ON DVD?!?!!
Well, they'd better. I'm begining to think that sending a petition off to Warner Brothers to release the shows demanding that it comes out on DVD... *thinks* H'm....

They're in the process of it, I think. *huffs* About time, too, since Nickelodeon doesn't have the sense to bring it back to their channel and put it on instead of some of the lame, stupid cartoon that they have on now.
I hope you DO get a petition up for that. I know that I'D sigh it.

End of the series?! What're you talking about, sys?! This is the Season 3 finale, NOT the series finale! Season 4 is already in production, ansd will air proabaly in September, and Season 5 is being worked on even as we "speak"! No WAY are Pete Laird (the TMNT's co-creator and current sole owner), Mirage Productions and 4Kids letting a series THIS hot go for awhile!!! The best is yet to come!!!

LOL Sorry. I didn't mean to sound so abrupt there, sys. I just thought that you knew that the show had been renewed for a 4th season. And probably MORE beyond the 5th that they're already working on. This baby is gonna go fo awhile yet.

Oh, no. The series is nowhere NEAR over with. Seasons 4 and 5 have been firmly (heh) confirmed. Beyond Season 5, we don't know yet, but Season 4 is completely fisihed and in the can. Season 5 is in the storyboard stages, I think. It's in pre-production, anyway. Which is VERY good news.
So put your mind at ease, sys. Our fave Green Teens are here for quite awhile to come.

I asked a couple of friends of mine if they'd heard of Danger Mouse before and their reaction was as follows: "Danger Mouse? What's that?".

As for not hearing about DangerMouse, I can't say as I'm surprised. It was a british-produced cartoon that featured secret-agent anthro animals (DM was billed as "The Greatest Secret Agent in the World" and had a somewhat chickenish (as in Shaggy and Scooby Doo-type of chicken) assistant mole (I THINK that's what he was, anyway) named Penfold, and they both answered to their control/boss, a badger named Colonel "K") and villians (the leader of these being a villaianous frog named Baron Silas Greenback (yet ANOTHER bad guy reptile (outside Lord Hebi from a recent TMNT ep) who gives all the others a bad name) on Nickelodeon WAY the heck back in the day (mid 80's, to be exact), was dropped and hasn't been back on Nick since.
Keep an eye out for it, though. It was a great series, and even if the plots were sometimes corny and whatnot, it was always funny. It should do well on DVD. I know that I'LL be nailing them when they come out. DM's my fave mouse OUTSIDE the Biker Mice, so this is great news to me.

LOL No, absolutely, you're not. Nor are the only one who sometimes gets teased about it.
I've got an aunt and uncle (my FAVORITE aunt and uncle, in fact) who think I should watch more ADULT stuff. But sometimes, even for me, as muych as I love stuff on the History Channel, or the Discovery Channel, and what-not, that gets mega-boring. And when it does, I'm just as apt to have a cartoon-watching marathon. Usually the SKs, the Biker Mice, or the Ninja Turtles.

I have absolutely NO clue. Unless it has something to do with the fact that Warner Bros. owns the rights to the series now that Hanna-Barbera no longer exists as a company, and they're just being butts and don't WANT ot release them.
Hopefully, it WILL come out sooner or later. Shows like that eventually do.
Case in point, I never thought that they'd ever release "DangerMouse" (on of my all-time FAVE cartoons) on DVD, either. But they are. So there's always hope.
