Description Fallout 3-style Enclave soldier with a Fallout 3-style plasma rifle, which looks like it was made in shop class.

I like how most of this guy came out, but he looks too... agile. Not bulky enough. I mean, that's 50 lbs. of servos and radiation shielding and ceramic and metal plating right there, and he looks like he could perform ballet. Or that he shops wherever Master Chief gets his athletic-wear.

'Course, he will be stomping around in a flooded bayou, so maybe a little agility is called for.

Lemme know what you guys think.

I might do just that. I did some new Fallout stuff recently, so it's not too far out of some of the stuff I'm doing lately.

Actually, it's entirely possible to remain agile while wearing heavy full-body armor. See the numerous YouTube videos of people cartwheeling in full plate. It only stands to reason that power armor, while more bulky, would be capable of similar agility - it DOES amplify the wearer's strength, after all.

It's true, though I figured if the Fallout guys decided to have the armor penalize Agility in Fallout 3, who am I to complain?

Seeing as I haven't even decided on a system to run a Fallout P&P on, though, I'm not too worried about overall agility of Enclave power armor at the moment.

I suppose if I had to justify a lighter version in the Bayou, I'd probably go with not wanting to sink extra-deep in thick swampland. Even with enhanced Strength, that muck is hard to walk through.

There was supposed to be an official Fallout P&P system coming out, but Interplay and Bethesda got into a scrap about it and it wound up being released as [link] instead. I hear it sucks.

Personally I'd recommend Dark Heresy. It's even got Bloody Mess rules all built in!

I've looked it over. They got a lot about how a d20 system works wrong. It had some good ideas implemented very, very badly.

Hmm... I shall consider it.

Sometime, eventually. If I come up with the free time, I'd love to do whole piles of Fallout stuff, but I don't have the time I'd like.

I've got a lot of other stuff on my plate at the moment, but I really do want to do more Fallout stuff, so I'm hoping to clear out some time on the schedule for that.

Looks cool, but yeah, on the skinny side. I think maybe the armour is too figure hugging / skintight. The ratios of length to width are off maybe ? Needs to be thicker and bulkier with less body shape and more armour shape. But I also don't know what I am talking about heh. I think its the legs, waist torso that does it for me - if they are solid looking, it gives bulk... ( *thinks of Games Workshops Terminators for the bulky look... no mistaking thats heavy armour there...* )

I'll try making a bulkier version sometime in the future.

I agree, it looks almost like a light-armor version of the Enclave Powered Armor XD But I think it should work fine regardless!

If you want to make him look heavier, then you have to make the armor bulkier-looking. I would start with the pauldrons (Shoulder armor), make those bigger.

Yep, I'll be making a bigger, bulkier version sometime later.
