This is a step by step tutorial on how i draw eyes.

(this was done in paint tool SAI but it will work in other programs that support layers, such as Photoshop)

1. Draw the eye shape.
2. Add a dark version of the eye color
3. create a little highlight at the bottom, with a lighter version of the color in no 2
4. - 7. Start adding the details! start making the lines and keep layering a lighter color on the top.
8. Add some black to the center and around the top, for extra contrast.
9. Create a new layer and draw a rough filled in circle on the bottom part . Then hit the overlay button for layer options.
10. Do the same as 9 but this time with a smaller circle. (this is optional)
11. Add reflections!
12. And finally, refine the details if you like. And then you are done!!!!

Im not the best at explaining, so please, feel free to ask if you dont understand.
