"This doodle bag is the fourth of five in my holiday 2013 collection! It's made from an upcycled light blue canvas purse that has been completely covered with one-of-a-kind, hand drawn illustrations. I simply took some Sharpies and got to work. The theme of this bag is the classic stop-motion Christmas special from Rankin/Bass, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." I've included drawings of all of your favorite lovable characters: Rudolph, Santa Claus, Sam the Snowman, Clarice, Hermey the dentist, Yukon Cornelius, The Abominable "Bumble", King Moonracer, and many of the misfit toys (Dolly, Spotted Elephant, Charlie in the Box, Swimming Bird, the train with square wheels on his caboose, the flightless airplane, the b-b-b-boat that can't stay afloat, the jelly pistol, and the cowboy that rides an ostrich.) Possibly the most sentimental bag of my holiday 2013 collection, it would make the perfect Christmas gift for your special someone!

This light blue Sonoma clutch style purse is about 9 1/2" wide with white and aqua trim and a top zipper closure. The rainbow striped interior has one zipper pocket and two additional pockets that are large enough to fit a cell phone. This is the only Rudolph bag I have ever made and will ever make. I rarely duplicate themes when I make these bags and no two bags are ever alike. My doodle bags are completely one-off and one of a kind, making them the perfect unique gift! Whenever I have made them for my friends as gifts in the past they always would get tons of compliments whenever they would wear them out. The illustrations are quite durable and will last as long as the bag does if you use common sense. Getting caught in the rain with a doodle bag is fine, but I would stick to hand washing or spot washing if it gets really dirty just to stay on the safe side (no chemicals.) This purse comes signed by me on the inside, along with the name of my Etsy store if anyone asks you where you got it…and you know they will."
