Description Simple clock where all the elements are planets orbiting the sun/hour. Positioning is based on the speed, with fastest being in the middle and the slowest on the outside. The year orbits once a year, month once a month, weekday once a week, and day once a day. Minute and second orbit in the traditional analog clock length of their respective hands. Finally, the sun displays the hour, and does not orbit.

Mercury/Seconds moves a little roughly, but it's as smooth as I can figure out how to make it.  The rest should be pretty smooth, as orbiting planets should be.
If anyone looks at the code and figures out a smoother Mercury, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know how you did it!

If you like this and have a smart watch, I also made this as a watch face on Facer:  www.facer.io/watchface/aszKqHA…

Hi there, I did something similar some time ago - it will be pretty obsolete now, I guess. Sadly, I can't open your skin because my rainmeter is a bit outdated but you should be able to check whether my seconds planet is smoother or not. I did look into the code and we use different formulas so I am not sure my code can by of any help to you. However, if I remember it well, there is part

[Rainmeter]
Update=10

and the higher the number, the more updates in a second - therefore smoother movement. It should be some reasonable number, 1000 would probably be too much for the poor processor.

Wow, yours is gorgeous!  It doesn't appear to be any smoother than mine, though.
On a side note, Update is the time between updates, in milliseconds, so Update=1000 would update once a second.
Thanks for the comment!
