"Is she a human being?" That is a really deep question actually. Most would probably say: "of course not! Look at that artificial skull, wtf?!"
But then you didn't play the game "SOMA", which let's you think so much about this question. What does it mean to be human?
Is it the body? Being made out of flesh and bones? Or is it the consciousness? The feeling of being alive?
This art totally reminds me of that game. Oh man, it was so gooood.

Curiously, if she is a cyborg, then she only had a part of the body with her head replaced or is it a case of a full body replacement (like Ghost in the Shell)?

When I was drawing it I thought she is an android. So she was constructed this way. May be she looks like this because she awoke unfinished. Anyway, your version fits here as well! And about the earring, I thought there should be a symbol specific for androids.
