yet another comic about SOPAmost of the websites i visit daily are american based and i'm NOT found of seeing them shutting down.
there is NO point or logic in SOPA or PIPA.

There have been many people become famous off Youtube (I'm not sure about deviant I have only been on for a couple of months) and now they want to get rid of it?

it's ridiculous
a stupid thing like a home video of a kid dancing to miley cyrus may cause a website to shut down just because it's copyrighted. it makes no sense.

Yeah, but most of the torrent sites are hosted in neutral countries, so anyone outside of the United States will still be able to access them. Sites that are hosted in the United States however, like deviantART and YouTube, will be removed from the internet completely. That is the artist's point.

exactly, i'm not american nor is, for example, thepiratebay. it will not be shut down and i will still get all of the downloads i used to.
in the meantime, websites like deviantart that have fan made stuff will be shut down or censored.
and that for me just doesn't make any sense
