Description
Here's something I've been working on the last few days, it's fun doing sprites, but I think I used the most complicated methods possibleThat'd be a fun game to play wouldn't it be ?
Sadly I'm not an animator or competent in programming
Hope you guys like it anyways
I also slightly simplified her design for the purpose of this animation.
Here's Chikara's sprite in full view and higher resolution:

Sadly I'm not healthy "enough" to help you out with the development of a fighting game (or better, a loving game ) containg muscle-bound female(s). Otherwise I'd likely use Godot Engine, which is a good completely free 2d/3d game engine. In case you'd like to try yourself some day, there are game engines who do not require actuall programming in the form of code, but rather provide a system of visual nodes which you connect to each other and change their settings to make objects do what you have in mind. Godot I believe also supports that. (checked right now...and bingo):
www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFuzNO… (old video with Godot version 2.1RC2)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=bt0Pdc… (new video with Godot version 3)
Iknow, you probably don't have the time, but I always like to provide some tips and links for what it's worth

Seems cool, who knows maybe someday.
I didn't expect anyone to develop a fighting game based on this anyways, but nonetheless I hope you get to good health as swiftly as possible

Ah thank you, but the injury I have will not go away until some breakthrough in the medical world. But it's ok, I have no choice but accepting what life provides me, and live with it until the moment that awaits us all
Btw, the second link was general overview of various things (not nodes only). The title mislead me. If you google (and youtube) "visual scripting" optionally accompanied with "godot" (if interested in this particular engine) you can see more videos (and articles). However, for 2d games, I think there are other engines which that are more limited and hence simpler. But whichever, it's a good investment to learn a game engine, especially if you are a capable artist with good drawing and painting skills like you. I can totally see your characters walking/running around doing things

Oh uh, well in that case I'm sorry to hear that, I wish you the strength to live your life as good as can be.
Yep, 2D would be my starting point, I could see myself drawing sprite movesets. Of course beeing a fighting game enthousiast myself, it's always been in the back of my mind how cool it'd be to do one myself.
But it's not that easy and consumes time as well.

Thanks!
Yes it does consume time (or else I would be more skilled and have a much bigger gallery hehe), but for the sake of "having done a game demo" you could:
1. draw a single character's animations
2. draw a single level's background
3. configure the engine with the animations (sprite sequences) and background, and map the inputs to the various animations.
At this point two "players" with two controllers can do the testing. And if like what you see, you can read a little AI article relating to 2d fighting games, and implement that in the engine to see how they behave all "by themselves".
It will feel good having done such a thing.

I remember :icon Amateurunleashed: doing something like this too! Also remembered talkin' with peeps about how they'd be in terms of a gaming playstyle. I could definitely see a fighting game or a beat them up with characters in the community.

Probably be pretty bare bones tho
Nonetheless I'd like to see that happen someday

Oh, that's damn cool!
A fighting game with characters from across this community would be pretty fun.

Thank you very much
My thoughts exacly, it might happen eventually.
I could see myself drawing every attack/move animation of Chikara, but that's all I could do at this point
