“THAT’S IT!” Whisk suddenly roared. She charged at Shadow Meggy with a fist reared back, but the living silhouette sidestepped her attack and retaliated with a sweeping kick in the back. As Whisk tumbled, she quickly pulled out her laser pistol and fired rapidly at Shadow Meggy. She was stung with one shot and lashed out with her own energy blast, narrowly missing Whisk and blowing a little crater into the ground. The literal cat burglar rose and was instantly slammed into a wall by her enemy.
“Ooh, feisty. What happened to that scared little girl behind the mask?” Shadow Meggy tauntingly queried as she held Whisk by the collar.
“You made her mad,” the neko growled.

Oh boy, school’s back in session for me. Woooonderful. Ah well, here’s another glimpse at my attempt to fix Sunset Paradise… which doesn’t address the issue of being tied to a Mario fan-series, ironic as that was one of my first complaints. TBF they managed to work around copyright well enough for what it was, and while I still think it might have been for the better if they just rebooted the continuity, it’s ONLY an issue for the professional production scene. Us casual fanartists are far enough under Nintendo’s radar to not worry about getting DMCA’d over Meggy being an inkling hanging out in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Also does anyone else think “Papercut” would be a perfect theme for Shad? No? Just me? Eh RIP Chester Bennington anyway
