Well this has become way more topical than I intended (Volume 9 trailer just came out; looks like a nice change of pace after the excessively grimdark previous Volume)

Anyway, so I still have not done much to follow through on drawing scenes from Project MXM (…or Coaster Spirits for that matter), but I have at least a couple done and one of them shows Ruby emerging on Anime Island. Ya can’t have Ruby Rose without her iconic gun-scythe, right? Well… I say ya can, but you shouldn’t. I left Crescent Rose mostly out-of-frame for that drawing because it is a nightmarishly detailed tool and I guess I didn’t feel like putting in the effort that day. But I’d like to draw Ruby more often and would like to NOT repeat that, so I figured I would do a practice drawing for once. Looks… pretty good, actually! I might upload an updated version of this with the compacted form later.
