For a long time I’ve had this headcanon on what Bob looks like under his cloak and I guess it’s… a bit outdated, between the WOTFI ‘22 redesigns and Bob apparently having actual hands… but SMG4 doesn’t exactly have stable continuity or seem to care about making its Zelda parts accurate and everything SMG4 I make is AU anyway so, screw it he’s a mutant cyborg freak because I said so

Bit of lore behind this design: the blade hands are natural to his species (which isn’t necessarily Garo, because SMG4) and they pick things up using telekinetic fields around the blades, visible as a faint green shimmer. However, because of an incident involving a Black Bolt-like spell, his vocal chords were destroyed and his mouth injured. Someone who was way too advanced for the time (maybe a time traveler?) helped Bob by rebuilding his mouth and throat with a mask-like prosthetic, hence his synthetic voice.

Said scientist has since died. So has the tribe of Not-Garos Bob comes from. Hence why he was found alone in a dungeon and is a cynical a-hole.
