I'll be honest, I'm still on the fence on weather I should make these guys permanent characters.

The Elite are the voiceless soldiers/guards who work the best with the girls compared to the whole army. While they don't have a voice, you can see they still show some form of personality.

Not only would they help keep the girls chess piece motif, but they would also help them in more tactical situations. Of course, this also means I will have to limit any permanent support members down to only Buckley and Nadya. [link]

Which is fine. The chess pieces could be battle support and sometimes comic relief, while Buckley and Nadya provide them with a closer human interaction. Both groups of course would still be considered the girls friends.
