Description
This is my entry for 's latest Kim Possible contest. It is an illustration for 's marvelous story--Tunnel Vision, which can be found at this [link] . Please read it. It's long, but it's well worth it.The scene I decided to illustrate, well, let's just call it a deleted scene, or even a composite scene. There are a lot of features of this drawing that are in the story, just not all in one scene. Like I said, it's a long story, so all of the cute spots are spread throughout.
The particular setting of this scene is Jockey's Ridge, which is the tallest sand dune on the Eastern Coast of the US--though, unfortunately that's impossible to tell from this drawing. It is now a national park (at least if I remember correctly).
The date is December 1903--the date that the Wright Brothers made the first powered flight at Kittyhawk. Once again, read the story to find out more.
Please comment, especially if you plan on faving it. Thank you.
Disclaimer: Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable belong to Bob Schooley, Mark McCorkle, and, of course, Disney.

That's it for now...I think. Keep smiling

EDIT: My wonderful father made the comment that the black lines I had originally used (to outline their faces in) made it look like their heads were floating in space. XP
Anyway, it bugged the heck out of me...so I fixed it.
I will put the original in scraps if you liked the dark outlines better. [link]
Gives it a softer look...dontcha think?
EDIT: 5/28/07 11:35pm EST. Fixed a couple of small, dark spots on the left edge of the picture that were bothering me.

Kim Possible is my favorite cartoon (if you couldn't tell from my gallery, lol). It's so clever and well-written compared to most of the other cartoons out there. And, if you like Cartoon Network, I'm sorry, but most of the stuff on there (nowadays anyway) is revolting, especially shows like "Ed, Edd, and Eddy" and "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy." The only shows I watch on there anymore are "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" and "Futurama." I miss when they were still playing "Dexter's Lab" and "Johnny Bravo." I admit they weren't the greatest cartoons, but they were far better than what they show now.
Thanks for commenting!
PS: Don't worry, I'm sure my dad will post more soon. Believe me, he's got plenty of pictures. Keep smiling .
500 Deviations?! Wow!

The story is cool, but your drawing says it all. Kim looks cute and feminine, even with those pants.

It looks nice and quiet. I noticed you used a pale palette for the background.
Good luck with the contest!

Fantastic, and it's so fitting between the style of the story, and the style of the show. Magnificent.
