Common Carder Bee (Bombus pascuorum), on the green flower of a Stinking Hellebore (Helleborus foetidus)Some poisonous flowers, such as aconite, belladonna, foxglove and columbine are exclusively pollinated by bumblebees, which are the only insects strong enough and simultaneously possessing long enough proboscis to reach the bottom of the flower. Besides, bumblebees collect up to 5 times as much pollen and nectar per day as honey bees. Bumblebees are buzzy workers and to call them ‘devils’ is my way of referring to and honoring the industrious and magical nature of these useful insects.

Could well fit for animal right's and protective work in photography, the detail in the piece is prize worthy of the species itself, giving detail to the actual part's of the species to be identified as "wholly science oriented" in their proper origin is a real feat of practice.
