We had a 3D project at university and to pass it we had to make an animation.Tools: Photoshop CS3, 3D Studio Max, Wacom Bamboo
Time: ~30hrs
Rendertime: 8hrs on 24 cpu cores
Location: Europe -> Germany -> Saxony -> Mittweida

Das Handtuch könnte noch ne Textur gebrauchen und der Baumschatten sollte sich bei dem Wind auch bewegen... sonst ganz gut gelungen, wenn man in Betracht zieht, wieviel Ahnung man meistens an unis von 3D zeug hat und wie schnell man das umsetzen muss.

wir hatten am Ende nicht viel Zeit für unser Projekt und naja, da ich recht viel Zeit fürs Rendern einkalkulieren musste hatte ich dafür leider keine Zeit mehr gehabt, sonst hätte ich die Wäscheleinen auch noch physikalisch animieren lassen.

I know, but I´m working with mental ray for only 3 months and I didnt had enaugh time to optimize it because it was a animation project for university. I´m still trying to improve my skill in rendering.

Hi There! The dynamics on the cloth look pretty good though with the amount of wind influencing the cloth, there should also be an influence on the tree shadows in the image. They're too still and it looks unnatural. Also the trike stops in an unnatural way. Maybe have it hit the wall and bounce off, or go slower. In addition, the pedals stop spinning near the end but the trike is still advancing.

Hallo Erik, das Tuch ist um Welten besser geworden! Hab dir ja zugesehen als du noch experimentiert hast. Was mich bei dem Orkan noch stört ... die Leine wirkt / ist absolut starr, du musst es wegen mir jetzt nicht noch mal berechnen lassen, ist mir nur so aufgefallen. das gleiche gilt für die Wolken im Hintergrund. Die bewegen sich keinen Millimeter, die Grafik könnte man doch relativ einfach durch verschieben animieren. Zu dem Dreirad habe ich auch noch was 
Hoffe der Unialltag holt uns nicht all zu schnell ein und du findest noch ein wenig Zeit für deine Projekte!

ja die beleuchtung und die animation sind alles andere als perfekt, ich stand am ende stark unter Zeitdruck da ich aus mittweida heim musste
Und zuhause rendern hätte ca eine Woche gedauert, da hab ichs in mittweida auf 6 Rechnern parallel rendern lassen und selbst dabei 2 Tage gebraucht
