IΒ΄m currently working on the environment for my leopard 2 tank animation. The next step is to create some grass und bushes and flowers for the closer environment. Then I have to animate the windmills in the background and I want to make some simple birds with planes and textures to fly trough the background of the scene.Rendertime: 15 Minutes (on my slow thinkpad)
Worktime: ~60hrs
Renderer: Mentalray
Polycount: ~288.000

the animation killed my browser after the tank crept past once (took about 2 minutes) . but this tank model is really good . i loved the details

well photorealism isnt achieved thats definitely, but i like the concept, and i like the tenks. it's a little bit harder to animate thank "wheels" but i think you will eventualy find your way to do that. best wishes!!!
