Story:
Kat was tired as she led the palomino colt out to the track. The third hired jockey to help with the horses had never shown up. Apparently he'd gotten lost. Like whole other side of the country lost and wouldn't be arriving for another two weeks. Phoebe and Kat were quite exhausted by the time they cared for all the Thoroughbreds when the days finished. Johanan helped with the mucking out and grooming but he couldn't ride the horses. This particular morning Kat had scheduled Para and Dante for some training. Dante was due to run soon and they needed to make sure he was fit. Jose was watching from the rails to observe the two colts. Jose saw the girls leading the two colts down towards the track when suddenly Dante balked. He started to rear and pull on the reins. Phoebe yelped as Dante knocked her off her feet and continued to buck his merry way towards the track. Para was just walking on as if nothing had ever happened. The palomino colt was quite calm compared to the chestnut devil that was tearing down the track. Jose laughed as he watched Phoebe chasing Dante. "Hey Phoebe you know you aren't supposed to chase a horse right!?", Jose yelled. Phoebe gave him a glare and Jose continued giggling as Kat mounted up and helped corner Dante. "Goodness he's a handful", Kat sighed as she held Dante for Phoebe to mount. "Good thing your a good boy Para", Kat continued as she rubbed Para's neck. After this the training session went off without a hitch and by the end Dante was too tired to attempt escape artist again.
