Born and raised on Dorado the Brogan family were close friends with the Wilsons. Both are wealthy and influential families amongst Dorado's military circles with a long line of high ranking officers stretching back through each family's history.

Brogan grew up alongside his best friend Paige. At age 14 both proudly entered into their mandatory 2 years 'Interstellar Service' with much fanfare due to their family names and history. Both showed great tactical ability and found themselces selected for one of the Alliance military's covert operations unit led by Sergeant Maro'Ike Tonga'ui'a.

At 16 they chose to stay on with the covert unit and a year later events would change their lives forever.

Sent to the Knives of Blair within Imperial territory in an effort to take down a group of rogue androids Brogan and Paige suffered grave injuries at their hands. Eventually rescued Brogan's injuries were extenxive to say the least.

Blinded and scarred across his head Brogan wears goggles most of the time to hide his prosthetic eyes and a bandana to hide the scars on his scalp.

He was practically skinned alive by the androids and so much of his musculature is now made of artificial cybernetic muscle fibres. His limbs were smashed to pulp and replaced with full prosthetics.

Like Paige he lost faith in the Alliance military and chose to resign alongside his best friend. His family despaired at his decision unhappy at seeing their 'war hero' walk away from such a promising career.

When MTHI approached Paige with a contract as a 'Security Operations Unit' she asked him to join. He agreed and MTHI duly upgraded his entire cybernetic and prosthetic systems.
