Description
SANDF mobile armour infantry fighting vehicle. The Badger is an 8x8 armoured vehicle based on the Finnish armoured vehicle Patria AMV, which will replace the Ratel 6x6 personnel carrier currently in service with the South African Army. The Badger is a South African-modified version Patria AMV mounting a South African built Denel turret LCT30, which is armed with a GI-30 30mm Cam-Gun and a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun.
