Description
A rough hack at re-doing an old-school dungeon map published in The Old Ones by Palladium Books. I found a technique for dungeon maps online and wanted to try it out.Related content

Finish the World, and then make it into a .kmv file for Google Earth!! Ugh!! Fanboy wants map!!!!
Seriously though love the work.

Palladium! Regnum can wait but it would be cool as well.

I sort of did finish the Palladium Fantasy world. That is, I have it all mapped out in vector. Putting that on Google Earth is a little weird, since it has the Edge of the World, but I could do it. Of course, all it has are the coasts, rivers, lakes, and mountains.
As for Regnum, I guess I could put it in as a Google Earth overlay. I haven't played with .kmv files, though.

That's really cool. I played Palladium Fantasy RPG for YEARS before I got tired of playing in someone else's backyard and made my own game. What online technique did you use for this?

It's a batch processing script for GIMP. You can find it at
www.cartographersguild.com/sho…
the latest version is on page 6 of that thread, I think.
If, like me, you're working with a small screen, then you'll probably also need this plug-in, since the script input window is very large:
gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=9…
Basically, the script takes a black and white image (white is the rooms and corridors, black is everything else) and creates all the layers that go into the image you see here. It's a very flexible tool, too. This was just the default inputs, but you can use all kinds of textures and approaches.
