First of all I'm sorry I haven't been very active here lately.

A picture of two of my Bachmann crossing signals (that go with the Bachmann Dual crossing gates) and lit with 0603 warm white LEDs. I don't have them hooked to a flasher unit in this picture which is why they're both lit simultaneously and solid, not that you can tell since this is a still shot!

The LEDs came from CH_TOWN Electronic and are DC6-12V 0603 1608 Warm White lights SMD LED Diodes Prewired 20CM Line. I got them off of eBay www.ebay.com/itm/123830861358 They came in 10 piece.

They were supposed to flash alternately but when I hooked them to my flasher unit, they burned out on me and I burnt out almost all of the LEDs and there were ten of them! I was hurt and very upset about that because I wasn't going to be able to buy anymore for a long time and I waited the last couple of years to do this! Was this close to turning fantasy into reality and had some setbacks!

I was happy that they lit up but was upset to have them burn out quickly, and I did what I was supposed to do, I added resistors to them to keep them from burning out, so I don't know what I did wrong. All I know now is I'm not using those LEDs anymore. Instead I'd like to use these www.ebay.com/itm/123030302551?… These come with resistors already attached to them and I've used something like these before except with red LEDs.

So this is pretty much a picture of something I endeavored and failed at! But I'm not giving up.
