Description
I'm experimenting with pencil, ink, charcoal and water, to find an effective expressive black and white technique.Here's Beowulf facing Gredel, with Grendel's mother and the dragon in the background, as a shadow of the future...

I like her better here than a golden Anjelina Joile wearing stillettos (which the norwegians wouldn't have even known about grrrr!)

That's pretty cool! I like how you have them all shadowing eachother. I'm glad to see you working in black & white...but for how long? I loooove your colors! But you already knew that, right? They swirl so nicely.
And by the way...that dragon? Spectacular - absolutely my kind of dragon

It's pretty much all black and white for a bit...the internal illustrations for the book I'm working onare all black and white.

I really like how that turned out. It's got a great feel and balance to it.
