Okay.. I wasnt too happy with my emerald theme part of the mockup so at the moment im just using a vista theme :0 but it looks pretty lush so i thought i would link.

Hello
I love the mockup. In fact when I have time I will have to try and get this onto my Linux Mint... I think if we can make a FOSS icon set that looks a bit more like the Aqua Apple icons... it would look very good. I suppose the new growl (notification system) actually looks better because the yellow doesn't really fit.

Thanks a lot
Alex

Wow.... this is nice, but it's so complicated. I can't figure out how to install these, and make them work. I figure if I can't figure it out... I probably should just leave it alone, before I mess my Windows XP up, without an install disk...

AWN wasn't my friend, so I found Cairo-dock, which is ridiculously customizable, I recommend checking it out.

i find it a little clunky and visually unattractive although it does have parabolic zoom. is it being updated regularly? i may check it out again, cheers for the reminder

rinishak In reply to willwill100 [2009-02-02 18:15:32 +0000 UTC]

Cairo-dock maybe visually unattractive at first. But after a bit of customization, it can be real eye-candy. I don't use it much though, it tends to lag up the system some times.

Hi
I tried to have it like in the screenshots. But unfortunately I didn't got it. What I like is the menu you can see in the screenys. If you would tell me how to do it, it would be great. In total nice, but not so beautiful like Dust

It is very nice and extremely simple. I see no reason at all why the devs could not incorporate this into Ubuntu.

Really think this theme could show non-linux users that Ubuntu looks better than all the other OS out there.
