Description
Norbert | Sibirian Husky | About one year old | Winter 2011What a beatiful and wolfish Husky. I fell in love the first time I saw him - although I really don't like that name. I edited a bit, 'cause I thought the leashes disturbed the harmony. Now he looks even more like a wolf ^.^

He's so adorable x] Such a neat combination of "definitely looks like a dog" and yet being very reminiscent of a wolf.

beautiful dog. Years ago I had a Malamute, Husky mix. Her mom was a pure bred malamute and the dad was a pure bred husky. She was gorgeous and huge. She was so gentle and smart.
When my son was a few months and he would wake up crying from a nap, the dog would come and get me. She was so protective of him, she would lay by his crib a lot.
Once I wanted to see what she would do if I didn't get up right away when he started to fuss, she would come to me and whine and go back to him. Then she tried to lick him through the bars of the crib, came back to me and licked my hand and then softly put her mouth on my hand and led me to the crib. No training at all, I know she would have been an easy dog to train to work with handicaped ppl. Such an intelligent and good natured breed. I loved her so much, that was over 20 years ago, I have really been thinking about her a lot lately and decided that once I move, I would love to get a Malamute or Husky, or a mix of the 2 breeds. Seeing this picture made me think of Misty even more and now I want to hurry up and get one. Not sure my cats will like it much lol.

Wow, what a wonderful story I'm glad to help you to hurry with your decision. A life without a dog is not as half beautiful as it could be with one. And maybe your cats will adopt it, you don't know that

Stunning dog he absolutely looks like a wolf! I love huskies because they're medium sized dog (they're so handy when you are in bus or train!) with the strong and the skill of a wild animal C:
Sadly here in Italy I can't find a decent working husky, and I don't like showline plushes personally.

I love them, too. And I like to have one, too, but I fear I never can do them justice.
Is is difficult to get a foreign one in Italy? Hm, maybe it's too warm for them in summer?!

It isn't C: but otherwise I live in Aosta Valley, so I don't mind much, it's always cold here :'D

Well then, maybe you could look for a breeder in another country. As long as their dog is well protected I think they are open for people like you

I could! But actually I have a Czechoslovakian wolfdog to take care, maybe when I'm older and I've got more freetime I'll think about another one C:
