Wow, this is the biggest batch of keychains yet! I made these for Anthrocon, and only a few sold, so here they are in all their leathery goodness.I thought it would be a waste to upload each individual one, so I put them all together to photograph.

Aw man! These didn't sell out? I thought for sure they would! But, I think this year we (dealers and AA a like) was saturated with 'cool merch' and not enough of it went. I know I sold very few things other than commissions!
These are worth every penny you ask for them, and more!

I was surprised they didn't sell too! I even marked them down on Sunday but I only sold a few. Oh well - it seems plenty of people online want them, since a bunch of them have sold since I put this journal up.
And yeah, commissions were the bulk of my sales in artist's alley, oddly enough. At least I know what to prepare for next year.

Oh wow these are really great! How do you make "Indentions" on leather?

By 'tooling' - I use a swivel blade to make the 'lines' and various beveling tools with a mallet to push the leather in and create a three-dimensional surface.

I saw some leather at hobby lobby today and I was really tempted to get it, but I need to look up how it all works before I go doing something crazy. Hahaha.
