Description
High in the twisting branches of the deepest forest, a figure spreads her wings over a collection of the most sacred gatherings of the forest. Hidden within the bowl, only her eyes know what they are. Perhaps she will share her secrets...I had so much fun painting Haunted Pause that I just had to do another in the same style and format! This isn't any specific raptor species in particular, though if anything I'd say it's a bit of red-tail and immature northern goshawk.

btw its not like some random is going to draw that symbol never having seen it before. except me... very weird i was going to use it as a symbol in my book and one day while looking through norse-themed jewelry (don't ask why) i found it.

You continue to amaze me with your work, I LOVE this piece! I love all the hangy leafy stuff, and the headdress you designed for the bird. And what's especially nice about fantasy work like this is that you don't over stylize the bird to the point of it looking toony, fake or anatomically incorrect. It looks like something you could tumbled upon in the woods, albeit with great surprise what with the set-up. ^^ Well done!
