Description Here's another commission for *LithiumCrystal . She wanted a "Charon vs Desmond" picture. The story behind it is something like Desmond needs the Vaultie for another dangerous mission, and Charon isn't very happy about it.

Unfortunately, during the work on this pic my muse abandoned me, as it does from time to time, so it's not as good as it might have been.

Ah, this is really hard, you know I think it'd be equal. Desmond has had tons of years of training yet Charon is a blind soldier who will follow out his task the end. Nice pic.

I think I kind of love the expression on Desmond's face; it's all 'don't get in my way, boy' and holy crap, I have to write about this.

Once again, I'm in awe of the fine detail. The guns are striking as always. The folds in the clothing and the shadows are great. I like the way you draw leather as well and I'm sure Charon does too. XD

Yay Desmond and Charon face-off! Desmond is an awesome character despite being a jerkface, lol. I really enjoyed him. And I always wanted to bring Charon to Point Lookout just so I can see them duke it out XD

Though, I gotta say... Charon's gun is bigger

Yes, would be interesting to see that.

As for the gun - maybe, though I took a reference photo of myself with my paper shotgun, and it looks even smaller on that photo than in this picture, though I'm myself is much smaller than Charon : ) Perhaps because it's in perspective.

Да-да. У меня в игре Шэрон (ладно-ладно, Харон) как раз ходит в шерифовском Стетсоне, очень хотелось его именно в нем изобразить. )) Но т.к. картинка не для себя, решила этого не делать.

Люблю тематику Дикого Запада. По моему мнению она идеально подходит к "Point Lookout". И Харон - вполне органично смотрится в роли стрелка. "Dan't warry kiddo, I'll pratect ya". )

Кстати, могла бы ты объяснить мне суть commissions? Это рисунок на заказ за деньги?

По-моему, она и ко всему Фоллауту неплохо подходит.

В Фоллауте есть места, где ковбойская тематика смотрелась бы не очень органично. Тот же Рэйвен Рок или поселок в авианосце - там слишком хайтеково для "духа прерий" (я считаю). А вот Мегатонна и прочие "пыльные маленькие города" - самое то для ковбойских шляп.

Нужно будет заняться этим на досуге.
