So apparently it’s a “strange” request to have bees shaken off onto your hands… xD I think I find it stranger that I absolutely loved it. I swear, mention bees, and I could melt.
I am hobby beekeeping, learning everything about it at a local apiary with an amazing trainer.
And with this image… honestly, I am not grinning enough, for I am surrounded by Holmes and bees and I love both so much - this is heaven. <3

I've often wanted to keep bees, but never have... My boyfriend's father keeps bees, and I'm wondering if we might in the future...hum.

Funny enough, as my fellow and I are sitting and watching television (resting between writing a paper, haha) he said that we shall certainly have bees when we get a home. YES. That little statement made me quite happy. XD

So much squee in this picture. I adore bees so much. Lovely little balls of cuteness. We played host to a bumblebee nest in our wall recently which was amazing to watch.

Oh wow! I've never even seen a bumblebee nest! I just love it when one looses its way and stumbles near the bee hives... It's so adorable because compared to the bees they're so big and fluffy and clumsy. xD

I saw some doing a waggle dance in front of my house where the guttering is and a few days later they were piling into a tiny crack. The hive was only small with around 10 individuals from what I saw, but the species of bumblebee was apparently a more rare variety. So I was extra excited. Unfortunately the hive has died down now. They don't last long.

This is such an amazingly cute illustration and the background story is also very cute and nice of you to include! I really really like this and I personally like bees too. Not too the point where I would want them on me though xd I just think they look lovely from a distance

I was nervous in the beginning, too, and even with beesuit and gloves I got startled when I noticed a bee somewhere unexpectedly.... but now, I don't mind at all. Someday I'll do this without gloves, especially knowing that the bees on my hands are drones and such young baby bees who both can't sting (yet).
