Who's excited about Devil May Cry 4?! I know I AM!! I'm still waiting for my copy to come, and actually this costume is what got me that copy. Oh hohohoho.Anyways, I noticed yesterday that I never uploaded a full body shot, or even a front shot, of this costume. Bad Bad me. Plus this costume has been done for almost a year too, so I guess I better upload something. XD
In case you didn't know, this is Lady from the game Devil May Cry 3. I made this and the Dante costume (which can be found in my gallery) for Wondercon 07. We actually walked away with an award too. ^^ I have a LOT of good Devil May Cry related memories with this costume and I can't wait to do something from DMC 4. Ooooooo exciting yes!?

I recently did one of those things on my "to do before I die in betwixt life" and played DMC4, rekindling my love of the series...so consider this faved.

No problem, have you played the Bayonetta demo yet? It's kinda like a reverse on the whole enemy thing...before it was demons, now it's angels?

I haven't played it but I did see it. I was sort of raging on how much it was a DMC rip off (even though the guy behind it did do DMC, but whatever.) I'll be sure to play it one day.

It's not really a rip off of DMC...sure there are some *blatant* similarities...but in all honesty...it really feels like a quality CAPCOM game being published by SEGA...there are a LOT of Okami references...but I wouldn't just label it off as a DMC clone...but sort of as the successor in some respects...if not an alternate take on it.
Granted the next DMC game will probably be leaving Bayonetta in the dust with all the new stuff...but I gotta admit, there's some good humor in the game, treat it as the badass parody of the genre, or even DMC's little sister. But I think you'll like it...even more so with the ability to get Ebony and Ivory in game (though they're just referred to as the Pistols).

Chances are I'll end up liking it... a lot. I just think I was taken back by the similarities between the two titles (as I didn't know the DMC creator was behind Bayonetta until recently.)

Yeah, I also found out the game is littered with Devil May Cry references as well...(yeah, that was the first thing that got me interested in it, I was just thinking at first it was an action game with tits on the cover. 
I'd recommend the 360 version until SEGA releases a casually-discussed patch for the PS3 version to solve the load times.

Well, her real name is Mary. BUT! She tells Dante in the game to call her Lady. So yes her name is really Lady but she is also called Mary.

The purple shorts are underneath, and the ammo packs are attached to the belt. Then there is the green vinyl in there to make it "look" like a skirt. Hope that helps.
