Um..... I did this one day on a whim. Thought it looked cute ^^Random young Japanese woman on a swing under a sakura tree. Off to the side, because of my boredness, I wrote sakura in hiragana and katakana (think I spelled it right..... O.o can't ever remember
)Heh.... the paper got all wrinkled..... it looks really hastily scanned (okay, I _did_ do it really hastily, but I think it adds to it artistically. Something like that... *shrugs* I just invent excuses of why I should continue to like my art)
I don't like the hands and arms ¬¬ and now that I've drawn your attention to it...... You probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise.
So.... yeah ^^ Just enjoy the pretty, peacful scene

(nodnods) sketchiness is a secret artist skill. It's done to make things look profesional when you really have no idea what you're drawing
I was planning to make something written to go with that, maybe a short ficlet or a poem, but I guess I never did (shrugs) If I am inspired, I'll send it to you, though!

As I said, it's secret artist skills ^^ Throw around some lines in strategic places, and ta-da! Good looking pic!
I had to do that the other day for a background. There was a forest. So, I made lines.... and lighter lines..... and darker lines.... made dark lines shape the form of tree trunk and branches... accentuate those with a little shadow... draw some rapid flat oval type lines at the top for leaves..... smear it all together with my fingers..... and voila! Instant forest background! ^^ ah, the wonders of cheats.......

Yep, you need to try that. Um.... which thing are we talking about...? I guess the forest background.... I'll remember to point that out when I put up that pic ^^ Yep, another obsession-- Inu-chan stuck to the tree with that darn arrow..... vengeful girlfriends..... O.o
